HOW WE HELP / NORTH EAST FOOD BUSINESSES

Less guesswork.
Clearer next steps.

Food safety support that fits the reality of running a food business.

Between service, suppliers and staffing, there is plenty competing for your attention. We help you understand what needs fixing, make sense of your paperwork and give your team clearer routines.

USEFUL IN YOUR KITCHEN

Advice you can
put to work.

The goal is a clearer way to manage food safety in your business, with support matched to the work you actually need.

Start with what you have

We review your existing information and working practices before agreeing what needs changing. Useful work already done should inform the next step.

Make priorities understandable

We explain gaps and recommendations in plain language, helping you see what needs attention and why.

Make it usable for your team

We help clarify procedures and records so you can build them into everyday work, rather than keeping the knowledge with one person.

TRY THE CLARITY PLANNER

From “is this covered?”
to “I know the next step.”

Choose what is taking up headspace. Switch views to see how the right support could turn those concerns into a clearer plan.

THE QUESTIONS YOU ARE CARRYING

2 areas to think about

Too much paperwork

Which records matter? Are we repeating ourselves?

An inspection on my mind

What might we have missed? Where should I start?

A CLEAR PROCESS, AGREED WITH YOU

How we work together.

1

Tell us what is happening

Share your type of business, current concerns and any inspection findings or planned changes. Start with the issue that matters most to you.

2

Agree the right support

We discuss which service fits, what it covers and what we need from you. Scope and cost are confirmed before paid work begins.

3

Work through the detail

Depending on the service, we review premises, practices, records or plans. We discuss what is working and where improvements would help.

4

Put the next steps into practice

Take forward agreed actions with your team. If you need more help, discuss a separate piece of work or a bespoke ongoing support plan.

FAIR QUESTIONS

Support should
make sense for you.

If you are worried about extra paperwork, cost or finding the time, it is worth talking about that at the start.

Ask us a question
“We already have enough paperwork.”

We start with what you already use. The aim is to make your procedures and records relevant, understandable and usable in your kitchen. Where documents overlap or no longer reflect your operation, we can help identify what needs reviewing.

Some records may still need adding or improving. We explain their purpose and agree the work; we do not promise to remove records you need.

“We are too busy for another project.”

Start with the issue that is causing the most difficulty. We agree a focused scope and discuss how the work fits around your premises and team. You can tackle a specific concern without assuming you need every service.

You will need to share information, discuss your working practices and put agreed changes into use. We make that involvement clear before starting.

“Will this just give me a longer to-do list?”

A finding is more useful when you understand what it means and what to do next. We help you separate priorities and discuss practical actions, so the work has an order rather than becoming another folder on a shelf.

Your business remains responsible for completing actions. Further help can be discussed if you need support following them through.

“I cannot afford a big consultancy package.”

Our services have published prices, and ongoing support is available on request. Tell us what you need; we agree the scope and cost before paid work begins. There is no need to assume a monthly plan is the right starting point.

Price ranges reflect different scopes. We confirm what is included for your premises before you decide.

“We already had a council inspection.”

Your inspection findings can be a useful starting point. We can help you understand improvement priorities and review how your procedures work day to day, including when your menu, team or operation changes.

Clean Bites is an independent consultancy. We do not replace the local authority, award official ratings or guarantee inspection outcomes.

“Will someone come in and judge us?”

The conversation starts with your business and the challenges you face. We explain findings in plain language and focus on practical next steps, while being clear about issues that need attention.

Bring your questions, existing paperwork and concerns. You do not need a perfect system before asking for help.

“What happens after the visit?”

You take forward the agreed improvements. If you need further advice, we can discuss ongoing support on request, with a bespoke plan for your premises and its needs.

Scope, frequency, contact arrangements and price are agreed together. Ongoing support is not automatically included in a one-off service.

CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES

Expert support.
Your business, in control.

Clean Bites helps you understand and plan.

We review the agreed areas, explain findings and provide practical guidance. We discuss the scope with you so you know what support you are receiving.

Your team puts it into daily practice.

You remain responsible for running the business safely, keeping information current and following the agreed procedures. We can support that work; a visit alone does not replace it.
