Food hygiene audits

Know where you stand. Know what to do next.

When you are busy running service, it can be hard to step back and see where everyday habits have drifted. An audit gives you an independent review of your working practices and records, with a focus on what needs attention and why.

  • Clear findings with prioritised recommendations
  • Announced or agreed unannounced visits

Our consultancy audits and mock inspections are independent services. They do not replace a local authority inspection or award an official food hygiene rating.

A few useful answers.

How is an audit different from a mock inspection?

An audit is a practical review of your current standards and improvement priorities. A mock inspection focuses on rehearsing inspection readiness. If you are unsure which fits, tell us what prompted your enquiry.

Will this give us an official hygiene rating?

No. Clean Bites provides independent consultancy. Official inspections and ratings are the responsibility of the relevant local authority.

Let’s talk about your premises.

Tell us what you’re working on and where you need support. We’ll agree the right scope and cost before any paid work begins.
